Repeater Information
There are a number of open repeaters in the Champaign-Urbana area.
  • 146.760 (-) W9SEH repeater in Champaign (PL 162.2 on the output only -- not needed to get in, useful for radios that support tone squelch)

  • 146.880 KA9SZX space shuttle audio retransmission

  • 147.060 (+) K9CW repeater in northeast Urbana (PL 107.2 on input and output)

  • 147.195 (+) N9HQB repeater on top of Hendrick House (sometimes requires PL 156.7)

  • 426.250/439.250 ATV repeater, shuttle video is retransmitted here during missions (cable channel 58)

  • 444.100 (+) K9SI repeater (PL 162.2 on the input and output -- you must have the tone set to use the system, and can use tone squelch if the radio supports it)

  • 444.525 (+) K9BF repeater in south Urbana (PL 103.5, IRLP node 428)

  • 444.650 (+) W9YH (PL 103.5) repeater on campus. This repeater is now back on the air. You can see the repeater here!
There are also a few repeaters in the Danville area if you happen to be over that way.

  • 443.450 (+) N9UWE repeater (PL 88.5)
Transmit offsets are normal (600 kHz for 2m, 5 MHz for 440) unless noted.
